Palm Oil is extremely valuable as a food source and is comfortably the most productive biodiesel crop by planted area.

IPT Oil Palm Features:

HIGHER BUNCH WEIGHTS: IPT standard oil palm bunches provide yields over six kilograms more than the industry average;

HIGHER BUNCH NUMBER: IPT oil palms produce on average sixteen bunches per palm per year consistently from year two;

HIGHER OIL TO BUNCH RATIO: IPT varieties achieve above thirty percent oil-to-bunch ratio, when on average only twenty five percent is normally achieved;

HIGHER OIL RECOVERY AND CONCENTRATION OF MESOCARP OIL: IPT oil palms produce more oil within fruits when compared to the industry standard;

HIGHER DENSITY PLANTING: IPT oil palms have shorter, more erect fronds proving it possible to plant one hundred and sixty oil palms per hectare, compared with the industry standard of just one hundred and thirty six palms per hectare;

EARLY MATURING OIL PALMS: IPT oil palms can be harvested after eighteen months compared with the average thirty months;

SLOW HEIGHT INCREMENT FOR PROLONGED ECONOMIC LIFESPAN: A typical eighteen month old IPT oil palm has a trunk height of only four metres whereas the standard is twelve metres. This allows for easier and reduced cost harvesting;

HIGHER FINANCIAL RETURN PER HECTARE: IPT's combination of early harvesting varieties, high yield production and good oil extraction provide the highest financial returns in the shortest time period. We have also proven it possible to plant alternative, cash generating crops between the oil palms whilst they mature to aid short term cashflow and satisfy investors.
