Mycorhizzae Inoculation

Vesicular-Abuscular Mycorhizzae (VAM) is a revolutionary technology owned by IPT.

VAM is symbiotic fungi whose thread-like hyphae colonises plant roots including oil palm, internally.  The fungus reaches out into the soil increasing the potential root zone by 200%, which provides a means for the plants to seek out water more efficiently under drought conditions.

An added advantage of VAM is that it is able to digest immobile nutrients like phosphorus(P) and iron(Fe) so the plants tend can grow more consistently, especially in areas with much environmental fluctuations.
